Making the low go...up and away.

Day two is going be a quick one. It's been a long day. My low treatment of choice is the classic, the tried and true: juicy juice 4 oz juice box! Or little Swedish fish snack packs. One of my most unusual low cravings is pretzels soaked in orange juice. Sounds so gross, but it is so delicious at 2 am when your blood sugar is 48. The other day I really wanted Chipotle when my blood sugar was low, the cravings are unpredictable.

I LOVE Swedish Fish. I need to pick some up, ski[p a meal, and let the fishies ride me back up the BG swing!

that is awful. I'll just wait until Halloween.

Pretzels soaked in OJ?! You know, it sounds pretty weird, but I bet it is AWESOME for a nighttime low.

Mmmm, love those Swedish Fish snack packs - I have such a hard time finding them though. I can't imagine a pretzel soaked in orange juice - but if you say it's good, I think I'd better try it! :)

Swedish fish are definitely a rare find. Our local Target seems to have an on and off again relationship with them. And of course when I do have them in the house I'm so tempted to eat them as regular old snacks...

The pretzels and orange juice thing can land you in a lot of rebound high trouble, but for some reason I'm always attracted to this combination for lows.

So true about what you want for a low never being in the house! So then you just eat everything else like a vacuum!
